In the Fall of 2021, Adidas and Microsoft released the first two sneakers, but now we have the third and final product of the 20th-anniversary collaboration.
Here, we’ll discuss what it looks like and how you can get your hands on it.
The Launch of Adidas Forum Tech Boost
Adidas and Xbox teamed up for the first ever console-inspired sneaker collaboration as part of its Xbox Anniversary Celebration. To commemorate 20 years of the Xbox brand, the new line of shoes pays tribute to the original Xbox, the Xbox 360, and the new Xbox Series X.
The design of the third and final sneaker launched this year, the Adidas Forum Tech Boost Series, heavily features elements of the Xbox Series X console and its 20th-anniversary special edition controller.
A Nod to the Xbox Series X: Black and Neon Green Details
“With design inspired by the fastest, most powerful Xbox console ever, the Xbox Series X, the silhouette is a bold start in jet-black, amped further with pops of neon green and tech-driven details,” said James Monosmith, Xbox’s senior sales & marketing manager, on the Xbox blog.
The newest model features a translucent sole, black netting, and green lining as the other Tech Boost shoes. Like the Elite controller, the shoes also have the Xbox logo on the side.
If you’re an avid Xbox fan, the Adidas Forum Tech Boost Series sneakers are exclusive anniversary merchandise that you don’t want to miss.
How to Buy the Adidas Forum Tech Boost Series
Microsoft and Adidas have set a $140 price tag for these sneakers, and more importantly, you’ll be able to find them no matter where you live.
The final shoe in the three-part release is currently on sale from Adidas, Microsoft, and other partner stores worldwide.
The First Xbox-Inspired Shoe That’s Available Globally
Unlike prior releases, the latest and last addition to the Xbox 20th anniversary shoe series is the only one available across the globe.
The first design that paid tribute to the original Xbox wasn’t even available for purchase, whereas the second Xbox 360-inspired design was limited to fans in the United States and Canada.
So, this is a great opportunity for Xbox fans worldwide to commemorate the 20th anniversary of their favorite gaming console.
